Improve Your Quality of Life with Effective Sleep Apnea Treatment
If you suffer from sleep apnea, you’re not alone. This serious sleep disorder occurs when a person’s breathing is interrupted during sleep, sometimes hundreds of times a night. Sleep apnea can lead to serious health problems such as high blood pressure, stroke, heart attack, Type 2 Diabetes, Acid Reflux (GERD) and when untreated impair your performance in everyday activities.
Dr. Rondeau & Associates will work with you to:
- Obtain important background information, such as medical history, sleep study and talk with you about how your life is affected by sleep apnea
- Deliver the most appropriate sleep apnea treatment for your needs
- Evaluate the effectiveness and progress of your treatment
Most patients prefer to wear a custom fit mouthpiece fabricated by Dr. Rondeau rather than wearing the CPAP Device.
This mouthpiece is extremely comfortable and gently moves the lower jaw forward to eliminate the snoring and sleep apnea. The CPAP consists of a mask over the nose or the face with a hose and an air compressor. The air compressor blows air up the nose all night long. The majority of patients cannot tolerate their device after 1 year.
If you’re ready to put a rest to your sleep apnea, schedule an initial consultation with a specialist at Dr. Rondeau & Associates.
