Dr. Rondeau treats many patients with orthodontic, snoring and sleep apnea, and TMJ (jaw joint) problems. Many patients are delighted when they find a solution to their headaches, ear aches, neck aches, dizziness, fainting, pain behind the eyes, difficulty swallowing, clicking and locking jaw problems. Dr. Rondeau is a General Dentist who has dedicated his practice to providing Orthodontic, Orthopedic, Snoring & Sleep Apnea, and TMJ services for his dental patients in his London, Ontario, Canada office.
Dr. Rondeau treats many patients with orthodontic snoring and sleep apnea and TMJ (jaw joint) problems. Many patients are delighted when they find a solution to their headaches, earaches, neck aches, dizziness, fainting, pain behind the eyes, difficulty swallowing, clicking and locking jaw problems. Patients with these symptoms are encouraged to call our office for an appointment. Many of the above problems can be related to jaw problems. In many cases, the lower jaw is not in the correct position in relation to the upper jaw, which causes muscle spasms with resultant painful symptoms.
Dr. Rondeau works closely with other healthcare professionals including medical doctors, dentists, ear, nose and throat specialists, neurologists, chiropractors, massage therapists, physical therapists and other members of the medical and dental community, to try and resolve these problems for patients. In most cases, when several practitioners are working together, the results are better for the patient.
Dr. Rondeau’s impressive list of credentials includes being named the American Association of Functional Orthodontics 1988 Man of the Year, the first Canadian to win this prestigious award. He is also a diplomate of the International Board for Orthodontics. Dr. Rondeau is a Past President and Master Senior Instructor for the International Association for Orthodontics, which is comprised of approximately 3,500 general dentists who provide orthodontic services for their patients. He is a member of the International Association for Orthodontics, Academy of General Dentistry, London & District Dental Society, the Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, the Ontario and Can
adian Dental Associations, and the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain. Dr. Rondeau lectures over 50 days annually, on subjects including orthodontics, orthopedics, snoring and sleep apnea and TMJ. He is recognized as one of the leaders in the orthodontic profession in the area of early treatment and functional appliances and has trained more than 24,000 dentists over the course of his career.
Dr. Rondeau’s holistic approach to treating orthodontic, orthopedic and jaw joint problems is one of the many reasons for the success of his practice. Dr. Rondeau has written over thirty articles, which have been published in dental journals and newsletters around the world, including Canada, the U. S., England, Poland, China and Turkey. Reprints of these articles are available to patients on request.
